Watercrest is not only one of the best choices for Independent Living in Port St Lucie but also a facility that should be a model for all organizations to strive for.
From the very top of the management chain down to each individual person that works at this facility there is a very strong culture that is consistently displayed. Each employee is engaging and demonstrates caring and concerned treatment of every single resident.
In a world where corporate entities care only about profitability and their bottom line, much to the detriment of their managers and employees, none of this is remotely evident in this facility.
Pat was treated like family and found profound comfort in her last year at Watercrest. Her happiness and peace of mind was important to her family and those who loved her.
I visited Watercrest community for my mother-in-law and wife. I have been in healthcare 30 years. My back ground is in operations and CEO of a healthcare system. I was so impressed with the buildings design, cleanliness, programing/activities, support for staff and residents. I spoke with residents and staff. The Residents conveyed to me….true happiness living in this community and staff also indicated how they enjoy and love working within this community, which I saw in their actions, and their comments to me. Diann the Community Director, was outstanding and truly cares about staff and residents. Her knowledge and professionalism is 5 stars out of 5. Jennifer RN Director, that helped access my mother-in-law… wow… knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate, and goes beyond what is expected. The building is the best I have seen and I have 15 years experience hospital and community living construction and design. It was clean, airy, lots of light and so welcoming…. I saw happy and smiling staff and most importantly…smiling residents… Activity Programing well planned and I attended one to experience; residents were very happy and fulfilled. Restaurant style meals and atmosphere made it feel and look like a high in restaurant. When I need this type of assistance and community… this is the first on my list. Great job Watercrest! You should be proud!
