  1. If your truly care about your loved one, and want them to be in the best of care, I would encourage you to have the care offered at Superior Residences of Brandon. The staff is caring and personable, and they provide the same warm comfort of care to you, as the care giver. They set their standards high on the level of quality to their residences, and meet them. They provide a complete program of activities to keep your loved one engaged and content. Nutritious menu throughout the day, and the safety and care you would only want for your loved one with special needs during memory loss. When you experience this level of commitment to care, it provides such a sense of peace and comfort to all. Karen F.

  2. Superior Residence of Brandon is a great place. I have been involved with them for over two years and they provide excellent care in such a calm and warm environment. The Executive Director Laura really cares about the residents and makes the community feel like a home. So blessed to have been offered their services.

  3. I have visited Superior multiple times in the last year or so. It is always clean and smells up to par. Unlike other facilities that always have some kind of smell, when you walk in, you wouldn’t know it was an assisted living. It is beautiful. The staff is very caring, down to the receptionist to the clinical staff, to the admin team. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. You can tell that the clinical staff has expertise in dealing with dementia and Alzheimer’s by the way, they take care of the residents. I was looking for my grandmother at one point, but we never made it to put her in a facility, she stayed at home. But when I am looking for one for my mother, this would be the place to be!

  4. Five days ago, January 2, 2025 we received a call from my father-in-law , he had recently been placed in this facility. After not knowing where he was for over a month, even though he was suffering from Mild dementia He somehow managed to call my son asking my son to come and get him from this place. (Thank you to the decent person that allowed him to use your phone because this was the last time my son ever spoke to his grandfather) My son and I have been trying to locate him for over a month because his caretaker refused to share his location with us. … I explained this to the front desk people. After receiving his call, we tried to visit him only to be told by the facility that his caregiver (POA) has given instructions that he is not to visit with us… reasons unknown. We made a call to the director . We were told the
person in charge would call us back, but we never received a call back and-they continued to refuse my son Or anyone related to Us to visit. Today 1/7/2025 we received a call stating that my father Inlaw has passed away. I would’ve thought the people working in this type of facility would know how important it is to keep loved ones close at such a vulnerable & lonely time in their life …Apparently, they did not care that this man still had rights and He wanted to see his grandson and that my son very much wanted to visit with his grandfather. I feel as if he died of loneliness. As far as I’m concerned they’re heartless I would NOT recommend them if You truly care about the well-being of your loved one. . Stay far a way from this place

  5. I have had the pleasure of working with the team at Superior Residences of Brandon as a community partner. Not only do they set a high standard for exceptional service and a senior living community, but they truly lead with their heart and desire to The best quality of life for each of their residence.being a memory care community, I am here to say it takes special individuals to effectively serve this population. Laura Heyn and her team set a high standard. They approach each resident and their families with dignity and respect, an attribute often difficult to find in healthcare and senior living today.
